What matters when planning becomes challenging.

{IF[FAMILYNAME]}{IF[SALUTATION=="Herr"]}Dear Mr. {FAMILYNAME},

{ELSEIF[SALUTATION=="Frau"]}Dear Ms. {FAMILYNAME},

{ELSE[SALUTATION]}{ENDIF[SALUTATION]}{ENDIF[FAMILYNAME]} 2025 was not a year of easy answers. Across regions and industries, many of us had to deal with constant change and growing uncertainty.

Markets shifted quickly, regulatory discussions intensified, and cost pressure continued to rise. At the same time, long-term planning became increasingly difficult – at company level, in projects and in everyday plant operations.

Digital tools, automation and AI keep speeding things up and will continue to shape maintenance and engineering. From our perspective, this makes one thing even more important: staying close. Being on site. Talking things through. Seeing real operating conditions first-hand.

Technical solutions don’t happen in isolation. They take shape when requirements are clear, constraints are visible and practical experience is shared openly.

Our view on 2026.

Some topics will remain with us. Others will move further into focus. These are the areas we believe will matter most.

PFAS: focus on differentiation, not simplification

With the next phase of regulatory discussions ahead, we will take another close look at PFAS in early 2026.

Together with experts from industry and authorities, we will review where things stand, outline the technical implications and highlight where a differentiated approach is essential.

Maintenance & technical service: practice over theory

Reliable plants need more than good products. They need partners who understand processes, interfaces and real operating conditions.

Technical service, flange management and hands-on support remain key parts of how we support our customers in daily operation.

Materials, safety & responsibility

Beyond PFAS, substitute materials as well as oxygen and hydrogen applications place high demands on design and material selection.

What matters is looking at the full lifecycle, assessing risks carefully and taking technical responsibility seriously.

Standards & regulation: turning requirements into solutions

Standards and regulations increasingly influence technical decisions. We follow these developments closely, share our perspective and help turn requirements into safe, workable solutions.

2026 will bring new questions.
Not all of them will have immediate answers.
That won’t stop us.
We stay creative, straightforward and curious.

If you’re facing decisions around PFAS, substitute materials or maintenance — we’re ready to help.
